notorious big

Although I was born and raised on the west coast, ive always been a Biggie Smalls type of guy; not to take anything away from 2pac, because he definitely has impacted and inspired my outlook on this world as equally as Biggie, but I can remember being excited, going out and buying that Ready to Die cassette and playing it on my walkman on the way to school every morning. This is where I was introduced to true talent, mic dominance, multi-syllabic rhyme patterns, and just raw clever wittiness combined with the ability to tell a good story. To this day we still uncover hidden and double meanings in his bars.

The music he created is timeless, and even 13 years later since his passing, people all over the world are still praising BIG’s legacy.
