water bobble

I’ve been fortunate to get my hands on one of these stylishly-designed re-useable water bobbles, and I don’t think I will be going back to buying bottled water again anytime soon; I use this every single day. I grab my bobble, fill it up with water from the closest tap faucet I can find, and get to where I need to go. The ability to filter my water as I am drinking is incredibly useful; everytime I take a sip, I ask myself, “why didn’t you think of this?”

As for someone with an artful eye, it’s important to me for a product to be very well designed, but at the same time carry on a function that is purposeful and useful to me. Karim Rahid of Method fame, doesn’t lose a step in his success of reinventing everyday packaging we seem to nonchalantly oversee, and ironically overuse in our lives. This is one water bottle you won’t thow away.

Here is more information on the Water Bobble:
Bobble’s ingenious design removes chlorine and organic contaminants from municipal tap water. In doing so, bobble replicates the experience of drinking crisp, clean portable water without incurring the significant costs — environmental and monetary — associate with plastic water bottles.
